Mary Ann Giordano Trask

Mary Ann Giordano Trask, 80, a resident of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Peter Bradford Trask; her parents, Peter Vincent Giordano and Angelina Catalanello Giordano; and her sister, Antoinette Giordano Falgout (Byron). She is survived by her two sisters, Angel Giordano Haupt (Jim) and Natalie Giordano Koppeis (Carl). She is also survived by her stepchildren, Peter Bradford (Brad) Trask, Jr. (Jesus), and Stacie Erin Trask; and grandson, Cameron Gutenschwager Valles Trask. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mary Ann was an active member of St. Philip Neri Parish for over 30 years. She grew up in New Orleans and attended St. Anthony of Padua School and St. Mary’s Dominican High School.

Mary Ann enjoyed bowling, traveling, playing canasta, attending Mardi Gras parades, and spending time with family and friends. She will be missed by everyone who knew her for her kind, sweet, and unselfish nature. She was a giving and loving person to all.

Services will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Lake Lawn Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM followed by a Catholic Funeral Mass at 12:00PM. Burial will follow at Metairie Cemetery.
