After graduating from the Academy of the Sacred Heart in 1982, Margaret attended Louisiana State University and earned her college degree in elementary education from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. She valued her lifelong friendships with her classmates at Sacred Heart and was very proud when her daughter Katie followed in her footsteps and graduated from Sacred Heart. Margaret and Brad started dating early in their high school years and she always enjoyed watching all of Brad’s Jesuit and LSU baseball games. Margaret was very proud of her two sons, Thomas and Christopher, who both graduated from Ole Miss, and she loved going to football games and tailgating in The Grove. Margaret’s “happy place” was sitting on the beach at the family condo in Perdido Key, FL and walking to Flora Bama for live music and bushwhackers. Margaret was a true New Orleanian as she loved Mardi Gras and enjoyed riding on the float in parades in different carnival krewes. She made many lifelong friends over the years as the family moved to new places, and she valued all the friendships and love from so many people.
Margaret was a fantastic wife, loving mother, wonderful daughter/sister, and she loved her extended family. She enjoyed traveling to Europe and was always excited visiting new countries, experiencing different cultures, and meeting new friends.
