Lisa Anne Lessard Ricciardone

Lisa Ricciardone, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, September 30th, 2014. She was born December 11th, 1959 in New Orleans to Myrna and the late Leroy Lessard. Lisa is survived by husband Jim, daughter Laura Ricciardone, sons, Joshua (Tania) Ricciardone and Anthony (Katie) Ricciardone. Lisa is further survived by two sisters, Debby (Terry) Laborde and Wendy (Luis) Tejeda.

Lisa graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Bachelors Degree in Education. She taught at John Ehret High School and at Metairie Park Country Day, a teaching career spanning 24 years. The balance of her years were spent as President of the family business, Ricciardone Site Services, Inc. She was also a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

A person’s legacy is often gauged by their children and Lisa counted her children as her most prized additions of her life.

Lisa’s family would like to thank the multitude of people who have been praying, donating blood and offering help over the past three years. The family is particularly grateful for the treatment and services of the Slidell Memorial Cancer Center.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Friday October 3rd, 2014 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Ponchartrain Blvd, New Orleans. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at a later date. The family will have a reception after services at their home in Slidell.
