Kenneth M. King, age 81, of New Orleans passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. He was born on January 3, 1942 to the late C.S. King and Claire Lafety. Kenneth was a graduate of De La Salle High School, in New Orleans and he attended Louisiana State University, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Kenneth served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked as a sales representative. Kenneth enjoyed antique auto restoration and he was a member of the model boat and train clubs.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Linda Landry King; sister in law, Kim L. Smail; brother in law, Bryan Landry (Sandra); niece, Holly Landry (Mandy) and nephew, Nicholas Landry (Haley).
The family would like to give special thanks to Carroll Pointe Assisted Living Center, St. Joseph of Harahan and St. Catherine Hospice.
Private services will be held at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home.
