Karen Crawford

Karen Hill Crawford went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on October 23, 2017. Karen was born in Natrona Heights, PA on December 20, 1945. Karen graduated from Freeport High School in 1963 and attended New Kensington Business School. She was a Financial Administrator for several years at Oak Park Baptist Church and First Baptist Church in New Orleans. She was a member of many organizations including, but not limited to First Baptist Church of New Orleans, Pennsylvania Grange and various sewing groups. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph O. and Frances M. Hill; her son, Patrick Ryan Crawford; a grandson, David Alan Gautreau, Jr.; a granddaughter, Josie Adele Gautreau; and grandbabies The Tusa Twins. Karen is survived by her husband of 50 years, William J. Crawford; her daughters, Sherri Crawford Pons, Lisa Gautreau (David) and Pamela Tusa (Chris); her sister Kathleen Sickenberger (Bill); her brother, Frederick Hill; her grandchildren, Austin Gautreau, Grant Gautreau and Jamison Crawford and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service at First Baptist Church in New Orleans, on Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11 am. Visitation at the church will begin at 9 am until service time.
