Joan R. Angle passed away on May 15, 2024 at the age of 78. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on November 19, 1945. After she graduated from St. Dominic and Mount Carmel, she went on to a career in education. Joan was a teacher at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church Preschool for 40 years. In her free time, she loved swimming and going to the beach. She was an artist and loved Elvis’ music. She had a soft spot for animals. She would do anything for her family – especially her grandchildren, niece, and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert D. Rosselli and Virgil Rosselli.
Joan is survived by her children, Scott Angle (Jackie Angle), Shannon Angle Cabrera (Gus Cabrera), and Stacy Angle Boue (George Boue); sister, Donna Brunson (William Brunson); grandchildren, Olivia and Kane Angle, Carolina Cabrera, Ivey, Nash, and Brooks Boue; her niece, Erin; Erin’s husband, Michael; grand-nephew, Parks Welch; and grand-niece, Celine Welch.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 775 Harrison Avenue in New Orleans, on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11 AM. After the Mass, Joan will be laid to rest in Lake Lawn Park.
