Frederick Alphonse Reynolds III, known by family and friends as Rick, passed away on February 25, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lydia Reynolds. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Babington Reynolds, and two daughters, Hope Reynolds Huber (John Paul) and Ellen Reynolds Moody (Russ). He was PawPaw to his four grandchildren, John and Abigail Huber and Harrison and Grayson Moody. A lifelong New Orleans resident, he loved living in what he considered the best city on earth. He was fortunate to get to work directly with people in the community through his career in sales and management. He was passionate about music, movies, and spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing cards and was an avid sports fan, particularly of the New Orleans Saints, LSU Tigers, and New York Yankees. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home on Monday, March 13, 2017, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, Rick’s request was that memorials be made to the Jefferson SPCA, 4421 Jefferson Hwy. Jefferson, LA 70121, a cause close to his heart thanks to his beloved Beau.
