Francesco “Franco” Geraci, 86, died September 30, 2021, at his home in Kenner, Louisiana.
Franco was born April 16, 1935 in Partinico, Italy to Francesca Loria and Giuseppe Geraci. Franco was married to Anna M. Doll on July 22, 1959. Franco was an accomplished automotive mechanic and opened his own repair shop in Harvey, Louisiana. He retired in 1996.
Franco lived in the United States for 29 years and frequently traveled between Italy and the United States. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Anna and daughter and two grandchildren. Franco was preceded in death by his son.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until time of Mass.
