Elliott Emile Halbert

Elliott was the beloved husband of the late Kay Halbert and the son of the late Elliott and Leona Halbert. He was the beloved father of Stephen Halbert, Barry Halbert (Jenny) and Julie Halbert Hover (Kenny). He was grandfather to Paige and Matthew Cohn; Amanda Hullum (Josh), Rebecca Halbert and Luke Halbert; and Lacey Sims and Jessica Oetter (Simon). Great-grandfather of three: Jacob, Timothy and James. He was preceded in his death by his brother Richard.

Elliott was retired with over 35 years of service from Entergy as accountant. He was an avid tennis player and a loyal Saints fan. Music was his passion and loved to dance with his grandchildren.

Visitation will begin on Monday, June 6, 2022 at 9:45 at St. Ann Church and National Shrine, 3601 Transcontinental Dr. Metairie, LA 70006. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow beginning at 10:30. Interment will be private.
