Dorothy M. Strain passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the age of 88. A native of New Orleans, she was born to the late Albert and Aimee Matone.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Beth Latour (John); her son, Charles E. Strain, Jr. (Bea); grandchildren, Tara Courville (Matt), Christina Strain, Jessica Latour (Sherry) and Amber Labadie (Justin); and her seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Vosbein; brother, Clem Matone; and grandson, Chad Strain.
Relatives and friends are invited to the graveside service to be held at All Saint’s Mausoleum, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, LA on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org
