Constance B. Daigrepont passed away on June 25, 2022 at the age of 87. She was born on May 24, 1935 in New Orleans to John Joseph and Aurora Mary Holland Bozant. She was a graduate of Nichols High School. She was a member of the Jefferson Women’s Tennis Club, Valpariso University Guild, and Sweet Adelines. Connie was an active member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and participated in their bell choir. In her free time, she loved to play piano and also enjoyed hiking and traveling. She played piano for services at the Lutheran Home of New Orleans.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years to Melvin J. Daigrepont; sons, Alan Daigrepont, Darryl Daigrepont (Kelly), and Kyle Daigrepont; daughters, Karen Callahan (Tom) and Denise Roy; grandmother of Ryan Callahan, Dana Daigrepont (Amy), Scott Callahan (Tess), and Nathan Roy; great grandmother of Lillian Callahan, Obadiah Callahan, Ezekiel Callahan. Jordyn Daigrepont, Coleton Schlöegel and Connor Schlöegel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Aurora Bozant; sister, of Ruth Bozant Burns; and brothers, Joseph Bozant and Gabriel Bozant; as well as her son-In law, Mark Burton.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the staff of Inspired Living in Kenner as well as Hospice Associates of New Orleans.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at St. Paul Lutheran Church in the Marigny, 2624 Burgundy Street New Orleans, on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at 12 PM. Visitation will begin at 10 AM. A graveside service will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
