Brian Anthony Clement passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the age of 62years. Husband of 40 years to his beloved, Nancie Clement. Son of the late Paul Edward Clement and Celeste Beverly Clement. Father of Jessica Gorman and Jarad Clement (Katie). Brother of Donald Clement Sr, (Judy), the late Diane Lacoste (Eddie), Susan Williams (Walter), Dane Clement (Anne), and Paul Clement Jr. (Celeste). Grandfather of Lea Gorman, Porter Clement, and Miles Clement. Brian also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Born in New Orleans Baptist Hospital and raised in Arabi and Metairie, Brian graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 1977 and owned Property Damage Appraisal Inc with his wife Nancie for many years. Following his father, Paul Clement Sr., into the insurance appraisal business, Brian was a talented and respected member of his professional community. More importantly to those who knew and loved him, Brian was a person of tremendous compassion and concern for others. His habit of noticing the needs of those around him, and responding spontaneously to those needs, was one of his many endearing qualities. He was incredibly generous and loved giving much more than receiving. A lover of music, Brian played trumpet through his junior high and high school years and enjoyed exploring and listening to all types of music throughout his life. Growing up, he had a record collection that was envied by all which he loved sharing with anyone who wanted to listen, especially if they wanted to listen to the Moody Blues or Pink Floyd. He had a wicked sense of humor that would evoke belly laughs from those around him. He was also a creative visual artist who was most comfortable expressing himself to others through his unique artistic vision.
Departed far too soon, Brian will always be missed and remembered by those who knew and loved him.
