Brent Harry Berger, resident of Kenner, Louisiana went home to the Lord on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at the age of 58 after battling cancer. He was the beloved son of Gloria Borne Berger and the late Robert Christie Berger.
Brent was born and raised in the New Orleans area, and graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 1982. He owned and operated Brent’s Painting and Drywall, for over 20 years and was loved by all of his customers. Brent was a devout Catholic, and a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Kenner.
Brent is survived by his mother, Gloria Berger, his son Alex Berger, his siblings Wendy Bentel, Sandra Birk (Bill), and Kent Berger (Sondra), his six nephews, Blake, Peyton, Ronnie, Henry, Bobby, and Anthony, and his girlfriend, Cindy Loupe.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the Chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. in New Orleans, on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 12:00PM. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. The interment will follow the Mass in Lake Lawn Park.
