Barry and I met as friends back in the days when he played baseball at Rummel we and stayed close friends all these years later.   We lost touch for a while but picked up right where we left off as if no time had passed.  He was one of a kind.  He had a heart of gold and was a kind and gentle soul.  I will treasure our friendship and will truly miss our conversations.  I am blessed to have had him as a friend. 
My prayers go out to the entire Boudreaux family.  The world will not be the same without him here, but I know we will all carry a little piece of him in our hearts through all the happy memories.  

When I think of Barry, I think of the good old days we had on the golf course and driving range at city park.  Barry was the type of guy that everyone liked.  He’s been one of my best friends for over 40 years and was one of those special friends that I will truly miss and think of often.  R.I.P. my friend.   - Jimmy Kreihs

Although I never knew Barry, I have had the pleasure of knowing his  wonderful and loving parents and sister. We all have those special friends in life. The ones we grew up with and shared everything with. Every joy. Every sorrow. The ones who know all our secrets, and we know theirs. The ones we may eventually drift apart from, but never really leave behind. Time and space may separate us but they are never more than a phone call away, always glad to hear our voice. 

Barry was that friend for me, the brother I never had. My best friend, period. Growing up, when I was with the Boudreaux’s, I was family. Mr. Jimmy, Mrs. Melanie, Darin and Shelly welcomed me into their family and I was forever impacted by their love. 

Barry, you will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. So many laughs, so many smiles, so many good times to remember. You left us way too soon buddy, but you had such a big heart that what you leave behind are the kind of memories that will last a lifetime. I will be forever grateful that you made me a part of your life. Goodbye, my friend. George

Barry was one of my favorite coworkers, he was always positive, upbeat, and just a great friend! He will be greatly missed everyday. Sending prayers and hugs to his family and friends. 

Barry and I met when we were both working at Massey's Sporting Goods in the mid 80's. You wouldn't expect an 18 year old and a 30 year old to strike up a friendship, but we did just that. Over the years we would play golf, fish, and have crawfish boils. We also worked for each other for awhile. He worked with me printing tee shirts and I worked with him installing modular office furniture.
Barry definitely was a character. Sometimes we would get on crazy kicks and wind up laughing until we were crying. One silly thing I remember is we would talk about going out on the golf course wearing those aerodynamic skating helmets and speed up to the tee like were in a race, just to see the reaction of the other golfers.  Some other things he would do to get a laugh was play the air piano or leave a message on the phone with just a crazy noise. I would do the same to him but we each knew who was calling. 
Barry also babysat for my kids on many occasions. They grew to love Barry and he took great care of them and loved them back. They are so sad that Barry is gone. But they have a lot of great memories of him
I am going to miss Barry as I know we all will.  This was too soon.
I loved Barry and I know he loved me.  He was a great guy and I am so happy he was in my life.

Barry was a great guy.  Remember playing basketball at Billy Tolars house with Eddie Horrell as kids.  Had a great ride as teenager, the 442.   Deep condolences to the Boudreaux family.  He will be missed.

The moment I heard about Barry passing, all the memories came flooding back…Building all those amazing club houses, playing football in the lot, jumping ramps like Evel Knievel, making all kinds of food at Donald’s house, tearing up the water slides on Veterans highway, blasting the Technics stereo,  and spinning the tires off of the 442!!! WOW!!! We had some good times. I have so many memories of Barry, and we had some amazing  times in that neighborhood. I am glad I was able to speak with him a little over a week ago. Although I didn’t see him for many years, it was like no time passed when we spoke…and that is how you can tell you have a true friend. I will miss you Barry and your infectious sense of humor.
