Arthur G. Kingsmill passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at the age of 81.
Arthur is survived by his children Kathleen Kingsmill Olsen (Skip) and Arthur George Kingsmill, Jr. (Katherine); grandchildren Dustin, Anna-Kennon, Kate McGee Kingsmill, Chelsea Kingsmill Kebrdle, Erin R. and Sean Michael Olsen; great-grandson William Patrick Olsen; sister Marilyn Shaak (Nathan). He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years Martha “Jane” Kingsmill; granddaughter Maire Caitlin Olsen; sister Isabel Nalty.
Arthur was very active as a deacon in the Archdiocese of New Orleans, and with several national and local charity organizations. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass celebrated by Archbishop Gregory Michael Aymond on Saturday July 28th at 1:00pm at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 444 Metairie Rd., Visitation will begin at 11:00am Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
