Anna G Dias

Ana Gonzalez Dias, a licensed practical nurse, for 30 years, employed by Baptist & Ochsner Hospitals, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, March 11, 2016. She was 85. Mrs. Dias was born in Wharton, Texas, and lived in New Orleans for fifty years, and then her remaining years in Pensacola, Florida. She was a member of Celebration Church of Metairie, LA, and Northridge of Pensacola, FL. Survived by her son Luiz Dias, Jr. and daughter in law Pamela Dias, and grandchildren Joshua and Laci and great-grandchildren Grant and Payton; sisters Ruth Figueroa, Maria Guerra, Cathy Travino, and Amelia Valencia; brothers Benjamin Gonzalez and Joel Gomez. She is also survived by many beloved nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Relatives and friends of the family are welcome to attend the celebration of her homecoming on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. New Orleans, LA 70124. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm followed by the funeral service at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park and Mausoleum.
