Ann Rose

Ann Lynne Mirandona Rose, a resident of Metairie, died on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at her residence of natural causes. She was 75. Mrs. Rose was born in 1936 at New Orleans, LA to the late Andrew and Thelma Lambessy Mirandona, of New Orleans . She attended Ursuline Academy and graduated from the Louise MeGehee School . She obtained a Bachelor’s degree from Southeastern La. College at Hammond . She was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity. She was married to Crawford A. Rose, Jr. She is survived by her aunt, Yvonne Lambessy Tracey, her son, Revis A. Rose, her daughter in law Frances Rose, her son Crawford A. Rose, III, her daughter in law Dr. Katharine Rose, and her three grandchildren, Henry Rose, John Rose and Jayne Rose. She was active in the Metropolitan Republican Women’s Club and was the recipient of the 2011 Metro Club President’s Award. She was beloved by all as genial and caring. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Wake on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00PM. Funeral Visitation at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church begins at 9:00 AM Monday, March 5, 2012 with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial after Mass at Metairie Cemetery .
