Alma Kathleen Leithman Hauer, born October 10, 1932, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the age of 85 years. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Earl Hauer for 62 years. Preceded in death by her parents, John Bernard Leithman and Leanora Christine Gerber Leithman. Mother of Laura Jo Hauer Casamento (Stephen), Maw-Maw of Leslie Claire Casamento Ruiz (Steven), Great Maw-Maw of Katie Elizabeth Buse, Emily Kathleen Buse and her “purr”ecious Bella. She will be deeply missed by family and close friends. Due to the wishes of the deceased there will be no visitation and burial will be private.
