New London- Joseph Raymond Brennan Jr., 65, of Waterford died Friday, April 4, 2014 in Lawrence and Memorial Hospital.
Mr . Brennan was born on May 27, 1948 in New London the son of Joseph and Isabel Bloomer Brennan Sr. He was employed for many years as a Carpenter for AMTRAK. He honorably served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1968-1970.
Mr. Brennan is survived by his daughter Justine Brennan of South Windsor, his brother John and his wife Sally Brennan of New London and sister Vanessa and her husband Joe Montanari of New London, sister-in-law Eileen Scott and 5 nieces and 5 nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Donald "Humphrey" Scott.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 11:00am in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London, CT 06320. Calling Hour will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00am on Saturday in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Jordan Cemetery.
