New London – Anna (Scovish) Daley, 99, of New London entered eternal life on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Bayview Health Care in Waterford. She was born on June 23, 1918 in Montville, Connecticut, to Stanley and Antoinette (Krupowski) Scovish.
She married John Daley on October 29, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York. Ann worked for many years at the 77 Restaurant in Montville, which was owned by her brother and sister-in-law John and Gladys Scovish.
She is survived by two daughters, Joan H. Bendfeldt and her husband Erich Peter Bendfeldt, Sr. of Waterford and Sandra Daley of New London, grandchildren Sheri Ann and Eric II, great-grandchildren Ted, Jillian and Ian, great-great-grandchildren Lucas, Zachary, Taiya, Johnathan, Anna, Justine and Theodore IV.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by two sister and three brothers.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM on Thursday, May 17, at Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 181 Ocean Ave., New London.
The funeral will assemble at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 18, from the Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, at Saint Mary Star of the Sea Church, 10 Huntington St., New London. Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, New London.
