Theresa Romero Viator

NEW IBERIA – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Francis Viator, the former Theresa Romero, age 81, at 10:00 am Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. Garrett Savoie officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm on Wednesday until service time on Thursday. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 pm on Wednesday.

A native of Vermilion Parish and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Viator passed away at 7:45 am on, Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at her son’s residence.

Mrs. Viator enjoyed shopping, reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Hensgens of Lafayette; two sons, Patrick Viator and wife Trudy of New Iberia and Michael Viator of Lafayette; six grandchildren, Chad Pellerin; Mandy V. Marye; Christy V. Navarre; Jennifer Viator; Cody Viator and Chelsea V. Guy and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Viator and her parents, Roy and Nilta Romero.

Pallbearers will be members of the family.
