A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for Robert Wayne Castille, age 67. Father Keith Landry will officiate. Interment will follow at Holy Family Mausoleum privately at a later date.
The family requests that visitation be observed on Sunday, July 14, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Evangeline Funeral Home. The Men’s Rosary Group will pray the Rosary at 6:00 pm on Sunday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday until 9:30 am.
Wayne was a dedicated employee to MA Patout and Son for 37 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time camping with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years Cindy Buteau Castille, his son Brent Castille and wife Mignon, his granddaughter Remi Castille, his mother, Annie Herpin Castille, his brothers Dale (Yolanda) Castille and Clint (Cathy) Castille, his sisters Rita Ann (Ricky) Montet and Martha Castille Prince and his sister in law Sylvia Delome with a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Earl Lee Castille, his mother in law Elia Buteau, his father in law Howard Buteau, his brothers Ronald Lee Castille and Earl Ricky Castille.
Pallbearers will be Lannie Buteau, Joey Buteau, Robbie White, Brent “Homeboy” Baudoin, Drapeaux Sherville and Chad Louviere.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cory Montet, John MacDaniel, Mike Brown and Dan Klein.
