Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Saturday until service time.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Keith passed away at 4:16 am on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at his residence.
Keith was a diesel mechanic for many years, most recently employed with Canal Diesel.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing. His best times were spent with his girls teaching them about hunting and running dogs.
He also leaves behind his devoted dog and buddy, Baxter.
He is survived by his wife, Tia Viator of New Iberia; three daughters, Clair Viator, Kaizly Viator and Braelynn Viator all of New Iberia; mother, Sarah Viator Touchet of New Iberia; father, Norbert Gonsoulin, IV and his wife Shannon of New Iberia; one sister, Nicole Touchet of New Iberia; seven brothers, Ricky Touchet, Logan Broussard,Dustin Broussard, Gaje Touchet, Aaron Gonsoulin and fiancé Savannah Tassin, Adam Gonsoulin and fiancé Carrie Primeaux and Austin Gonsoulin; maternal grandparents, Dianne Camus and Harvey Viator of New Iberia; paternal grandfather, Norbert Gonsoulin, III of New Iberia; his in laws, Lambert and Carrie Navarre of New Iberia and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his step dad, Rickey Touchet; paternal grandmother, Rita Touchet Clark and Wilda Bourque and Mary Harvey.
Pallbearers will be Norbert Gonsoulin IV, Ricky Touchet, Logan Broussard, Dustin Broussard, Gaje Touchet, Aaron Gonsoulin, Adam Gonsoulin and Austin Gonsoulin.
Loggen Dugas, Greg Whitaker and Casey Landry will serve as honorary pallbearers.
