Herman McCullers

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mr. Herman Wayne McCullers, age 72, at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Evangeline Funeral Home Chapel. Pastors Larry Harold and Milton Dykes will officiate at the services. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 am until service time on Saturday.

A native of Miller County, GA and resident of Deridder, Mr. McCullers passed away at 4:00 am on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center.

Mr. McCullers loved to fish and spend time outdoors. He was an excellent mechanic who enjoyed his work and also enjoyed to gamble.

He is survived by his brother, Hayward McCullers, Sr. of New Iberia and two sisters, Juanita Williams of Bainbridge, GA and Lillian Davis of Tallahassee, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Madison McCullers and Katie Ethyl Pickern McCullers; six brothers, Milford, Marvin, Horace, Calvin, Marcus and Don McCullers and one sister, Vivian McCullers.

Pallbearers will be Hayward McCullers, Sr., Hayward McCullers, Jr., Walter Richey and Jerry Davis.
