Courtney Bourque Guidry

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Courtney Bourque Guidry, age 26, at 10:30 am Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will follow at Nativity of Our Lady Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday with a Rosary at 7:30 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Thursday until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Courtney passed away at 11:55 pm on, Monday, November 3, 2014 at her residence.

Courtney was a very outgoing and giving person who gave donations to St. Jude’s on a regular basis. She was a very dedicated wife and mother who always had a smile on her face. She loved her MawMaw’s cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Jeremy Paul Guidry of New Iberia; one son, Gavin Paul Guidry; one daughter, Gabriela Ruth Guidry; her mother, Nancy Bourque Bihm and husband Brian of New Iberia; father, Jeffery Bourque of New Iberia; two brothers, Coty Bourque and fiancé Brandi Combs and Casey Bourque and wife Shayna; step sister, April Bihm of Lafayette; Paternal Grandmother, Marylyn Bourque; in laws, Michael Bryant and wife Connie of New Iberia; godmother, Vickie Duhon and husband Wayne and five godchildren, Brie Bourque, Chloe Decoux, Emily Hebert, Taigen Duchamp and Kinsey Buteaux.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Billieus and Maria Knaus Broussard and paternal grandfather, Allen Bourque.

Pallbearers will be Casey Bourque, Coty Bourque, Virgil Bryant, Darrell Guidry, Justin Jenkins, Brent Michaels and Ronnie Migues.
