Timothy Ashline Barnes

Timothy “Tim” Ashline Barnes, born on June 6, 1985 in Floral Park, NY, passed away on May 17, 2018, in New York City, after fighting a 2 ½ year battle with cancer. Surrounded by his love ones, and his amazing team at MSKCC, Tim was finally freed from the shackles of sarcoma. Tim’s career was focused on Information Technology, with multiple roles in the federal government and private sector, both in Northern Virginia and Florida.

Tim is survived by his fiancé, Kristine Konopa, his parents, Thomas and Anne-Marie Barnes, and his five brothers - Daniel, Michael, Matthew, Andrew and Stephen – his sister-in-law, Alison, and his four nieces – Reagan, Evangeline, Grace and Lucy.

Family will receive friends at R. Stutzmann & Son for a viewing on May 19, from 9:30-11:00 a.m., followed by an ecumenical service, at 2000 Hillside Ave., New Hyde Park, NY.
