Laura Elaine Freels, age 91, of New Hope, Minnesota passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021. Laura was born November 26, 1930, in Centerview, Iowa. Laura raised her family in Clinton, Iowa and then moved to Minneapolis,Minnesota in 1962.
She is preceded in passing by her son, Gregory Ralph Freels; granddaughter, Aisha Tamiko Freels; and parents, Olive Simpson and John Ewing Sr.; brothers, John Ewing Jr, Keith Ewing, Lawrence Ewing; and sister, Monta Ewing.
Laura's legacy will live on through her four children, Milton Freels, Terry (Gloria) Freels, Craig (Julie) Freels, and Angela Freels; 23 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many extended family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
