Paul T. Demoa, a lifelong resident of Nanuet, NY passed away peacefully on January 17, 2020. He was born on January 28, 1933 to Margaret (Madar) and Thomas Demoa. He graduated from Nyack High School and went to work for Lederle Laboratories. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army who served his country from 1953 to 1955. He became a skilled mason working throughout Rockland County on jobs which included the Palisades Parkway and the Rockland County Fire Training Center. He then went on to co-owning a Boar's Head distribution route and upon retirement, became a bartender. He served as an usher at St. Anthony's Church for many years and was a life member of the Nanuet Fire Department. He enjoyed sports, a fan of the NY Mets and NY Giants. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Margaret Demoa and his sisters, Joan Donlan and Janet Veen.
Visitation will be on Friday from 2 - 4 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anthony's Shrine, Nanuet, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nanuet Fire Department.
