Nicholas Rizzo

He was born to Pat & Barbara Ann Rizzo on June 23, 1969 in Bronx, NY. He was raised in West Nyack, NY and was a 1987 graduate of Clarkstown South High School.

Nick worked as a Branch Manager for Chase Bank in Hillcrest NY. He gave back to his community as a Volunteer Firefighter for West Nyack Fire Department. Nick graduated with a BS in Finance from SUNY New Paltz in 1993 and belongedto the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. He also played Rugby for New Paltz.

Nick had a huge heart and was loved by everyone he met. He was especially close to his family and proud of his beautiful daughter. Nick had many friends and touched many lives in a lasting way, usually just by listening or lendinga helping hand. He was always there when you needed him and he especially loved spending time with his family and loved all of them beyond measure. Nicky will be missed by so many.

He is survived by his wife and soul mate Carolyn Sergeant of New City NY, his beloved daughter Autumn Rizzo of Sunrise Fl. His father Pat Rizzo of Delray Beach, FL, his sister Marialana Lewis (Mark) of Waxhaw NC. Nick was also a beloved Uncle to Kayla and Mark Lewis. He will be missed by the boys he loved like his own Jack, Steven & Dylan Sergeant. He is also survived bymany loving in laws, cousins, aunts & uncles. The hearts that will miss him are too many to count. He was pre-deceased by his mother Barbara Ann Rizzo and his brother Danny Rizzo.

The family will be accepting visitors on Thursday February 28th from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at Michael J Higgins Funeral Home located at 321 South Main St New City, NY. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday March 1st at St Francis of Assisi Church located at 128 Parrott Rd in West Nyack, NY.
