He was brave, stubborn, and unwavering, forging his own path no matter how challenging the journey. An immigrant, father, POW, soldier, uncle, and hero, he was above all a cherished soul we will always remember.

Thank you for fighting for the freedom and democracy we are privileged to enjoy today. You will forever live in my heart as a testament to courage, perseverance, and the enduring spirit of freedom.
