Mary Ann Okolotkiewicz

She was born June 18, 1941 in Durham, CT to George Henry Planeta and Nellie Chiszewsky. She grew up on the family farm with her four siblings: George, Michael, Joseph, and Nelly. She married Joseph John Okolotkiewicz in July 1966. She has three beautiful children: Mary-Margaret, Mary-Elizabeth, and Joseph John. She completed 2 years at Saint Joseph College in Hartford, CT. She primarily was a homemaker providing a happy home for her family and friends. She enjoyed doing ceramics, porcelain doll making, crocheting, drawing, painting and beading.

She is predeceased by her husband and beautiful granddaughter, Alexandra Hyde. She is survived by her daughter, Mary-Margaret and her husband, David Hyde; her daughter, Mary-Elizabeth and her husband, John Cass; and her son, Joseph J. II and his wife, Jessica Okolotkiewicz. She is also survived by several very special grandchildren, Zachary and Rosanna Hyde, Devon, Dillon, and Darragh Cass, and Cadance Okolotkiewicz.

Visitation will be held at Michael Higgins Funeral Home, New City, NY, on Sunday, January 31st from 3-5 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Nyack, NY at 10 am on Monday, February 1st. Burial with brief prayer service immediately following.
