Margaret M. Lombardi of Fort Lauderdale, Fl formerly of Spring Valley and Suffern passed away on February 19, 2016. Margaret was born in the Bronx on November 7, 1925 to James and Mary Doyle. She married Anthony Lombardi in the Bronx, he predeceased her in 1987, and they were married for 39 years.
She was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy came from her family. Surviving are sons Anthony Jr. and his wife Gay of Virginia, formerly of Pearl River, Joseph and Paul of Florida, daughter Vicky of Arizona. Her grandchildren John Clark, Anthony P., Phillip, Melissa, Misty, and Dane, and great granddaughter Daniella.
Memorial visiting will be held Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial mass will be held on Friday 10am at St. Anthony’s Shrine Church followed by burial of ashes at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet.
