Joseph David Alexander

Joe was born November 8, 1973, in New Delhi, India. and graduated from Pearl River High School in 1991. At PRHS, Joe was a member of the marching band, cross country, track, and tennis teams. Joe completed his undergraduate education at Syracuse University where he met his wife Heather in the Marching Band. Joe went on to earn a Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago and later moved to Los Angeles. Joe married Heather Schwarze in September 2005 and welcomed their beautiful baby girl Maya in September 2010. They lived a very happy life together in California. A majority of Joe’s professional experience was that of a Marketing Director in the jewelry industry, while spending the latter portion of his career as a Digital Producer for Coalition Technologies.

Joe is survived by his wife Heather and daughter Maya of Los Angeles, CA; his mother and father, Daisy and Alex of Pearl River, NY; his brother, James of Manhattan, NY; and numerous other extended family members.

Calling hours will be held from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Thursday, April 27 and 6 p.m. - 9 p.m., Friday, April 28 at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home of New City, NY. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 29 at Saint Aedan’s Church of Pearl River, NY.
