Dear Marcia & family, 

I want to send my condolences to you all on the loss of your kind, wonderful, lovely John. He was so thoughtful and caring. I loved getting his emails and photos of all the family, he was so proud of you all. He was a great man for telling me the news and sharing photos of the grandchildren. He was such a kind and generous person. Molly & Jack were spoiled every year on their birthday and at Christmas, his & Marcia’s cards were always the first to arrive. 
It was a privilege to know him and he will be so missed by everyone who knew & loved him. May he rest in peace. Aisling McNiffe. Ireland. 

John was always the cool American uncle, out of mine and Jack’s birthday cards every year , John and Marcia’s were alway first to arrive! I’ll miss emailing back and forth and showing him how to say a few things ‘As Gaeilge’ (In Irish). 
Such a funny, kind gentleman.

Uncle John will be missed ❤️
