So sad to hear of Diane's passing. She was surely the sweetest heart woman I knew. Thoughts and prayers to Mark and the family. May the Lord give you all strength.  Rest in Paradise Diane🙏🙏the Angel's are waiting. Forever in our hearts and soul. ❤

To my Dearest Grandmother (Grammy),

To say this is a tough one doesn’t even begin to capture all of my feelings during this time. You were one of my best friends and a role model to look up to. You were the queen of posh, class and Victorian style; that was second to none. We bonded over a shared love of family history and Ireland and I’ve loved every time you would share a story about your life — even if I heard the story over and over again, I always loved transporting back in time with you almost feeling like I was part of the story. 

I am so thankful for all of the wonderful memories we’ve shared including our most recent trip back to Belfast in the summer of 2019. However, I am even more thankful that you got to meet “your baby” and my future husband, Ross. He loved you deeply and he too, always found you fascinating and loved spending time with you.

We love you and miss you dearly, but find comfort knowing you were with all of our cherished family in heaven. Please give them a big hug and kiss for us, and keep watching over us.

My Dear Mother in Law (Mum), 
I will always remember all of the wonderful times we shared over the course of more than 30 years. I truly admired your strength & courage to weather any storm that came your way. It will always serve as an inspiration to me to do the same as I hear you say this too shall pass. I will be forever grateful to have had you in my life because you are truly a remarkable woman. I watched you take excellent care of your mother (Nanny) and of your most recently deceased husband John, and know that you did the same for your father & Mark’s dad Joseph. You were a genuinely devoted wife in good times and bad. I am thankful that you were a positive influence in Cara & Glenn’s lives. You will be missed, but I know that one day we will all be reunited. You were the best Grandmother a kid could ask for. I will never forget the memories we created, whether it was you teaching me something serious like homework and schooling to something fun like teaching me how to dance. You truly did it all and that’s what everyone loved about you. And everything you did, it was done with a purpose, you were a huge believer in it’s not worth doing unless it’s done right. That was something that really stuck with me as soon as you said it and I still think of that and implement it every day. So I just can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done, your presence will be severely missed and the memories will never be forgotten. Rest easy Grammy❤️

Mrs.Mapo 
What a strong beautiful woman and mom and granny. She was iconic in Samsondale  and just a wonderful neighbor and great friend to the Concepcion family. I have nothing but fond memories of her with her accent and smile and love for her kids. She always greeted me with a smile and sometimes tears. Heartbroken doesn't seem the right word....how blessed and fortunate I am to have little Mapo call for me early in the mornings and not know the first ring and knock would form a forever friendship with the family. God Bless and keep you in God's arms Mrs.Mapo. we love you always.
