Carol C. Trombino

Carol C. Trombino of Maybrook, NY, 82 years old, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2022. She was born on December 16, 1940 to Ruth and Louis Seydel in Brooklyn NY. She moved to Congers, NY in 1973 and lived there for 32 years. In 2005 she moved to Maybrook, NY. In later years she divided her time between Maybrook, NY and her summer home in Pennsylvania. Carol volunteered her time within her community for organizations such as ARCS, People to People, and local food pantries. She was an avid pet lover and was especially fond of her Great Danes. She was a warm and inviting woman, and always had a smile and a welcoming cup of coffee to offer all who visited. She had many hobbies, and loved cooking, baking, crocheting, and needlepoint. Her greatest joy in life was becoming a grandmother and adored all her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two daughters LynnBeth Trombino and Maria (Antonio) Petruzzo, her son John (Theresa) Trombino, and her grandchildren Kylie, Lucas, Olivia, John, and Peyton.

She is also survived by her sister Joan (Frank) Prost and her nieces Ellen (Robert) Valva, Susanne (Richard) Swanson, her nephew Frank (ToniAnn) Prost, and their wonderful children. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 4-7pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Graveside Service and Interment will be held on Thursday December 22, 2022 at 11am, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Nyack, NY.
