Anna Marie Lenahan

Anna was a lifelong resident of Rockland County. She was a dedicated homemaker and loving caregiver to her family. She was an active participant in the Middlewood Senior Citizen Club for many years and loved all the social activities that it provided. She was elected President of the club where she held office for a number of years. Anna was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be truly missed by everyone whose lives she touched with her caring, fun loving spirit.

Anna was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, John Lenahan, and by her son John Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Ann Amann of Nanuet NY, and Margaret’s husband James, her son Glenn Lenahan of Middletown NY, her grandchildren Darlene Burbridge of Nanuet NY, Brian Amann of Evergreen Colorado, and his wife Cynthia, Todd Amann of Pearl River NY, and his wife KellyAnn, Lorraine Torsland of Park Ridge, NJ, and her husband Erik. Anna was blessed with 9 beautiful great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday September 20th (9/20/17) from 10am to 12pm, and a prayer service from 12pm to 12:30pm @ Higgins Funeral Home, New City, NY, followed by a burial service at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet, NY.
