Tadeusz Z Stachowicz

Tadeusz Z. Stachowicz (Ted) 88 of New Britain, died on Monday November 30, 2015. He was born in Poland on October 1, 1927, and came to New Britain in 1955 from England. Ted was a hardworking man who enjoyed mathematics, soccer, volleyball, playing cards, watching game shows on TV, and listening to Elvis' music. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He worked in several machine shops and was a past member of General Haller Post.

Tadeusz is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years Czeslawa “Renee” Stachowicz, daughter Renata Luciano, son Andrew Stachowicz and his wife Elzbieta of North Carolina, and son-in-law Richard Wawrzenski. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren Eric, Lauren and Chelsey Wawrzenski and Ted A. Luciano. He was predeceased by a daughter Yolanta Wawrzenski and brother Czeslaw Stachowicz. Ted leaves two sisters Krystyna Farley and her husband Edward of New Britain, Natalia Rak, a brother Frank Stachowicz of England, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be on Saturday December 5, 2015 at 12:00 PM in New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain.
