Philip Ralph Spranzo

Philip Ralph Spranzo, 71 died Tuesday, June 14, 2016. He was born in New Britain and lived in Kensington. He was a longtime resident of Brittaney Farms Healthcare. Philip was the son of the late Ralph and Helen (Chrzanowski) Spranzo.

Philip attended Berlin High School and Goodwin Technical School in New Britain, specializing in carpentry. In his younger years Philip played baseball, was active in the scouts and played the guitar. He especially loved visits with his family and sharing food with them and staff, he had a generous nature.

He is survived by his devoted sister and her husband, Patricia and Peter Daniels and their daughters, Amy and Lauren Daniels, He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain. Directions, Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, funeral home is 1 ½ miles on your right.

Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather Wednesday morning at the funeral home at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness P.O. Box 62596, Baltimore, Maryland 21262
