Norbert Poulin entered into eternal rest early September 12, 2014. He was born in St Martin, Beauce Canada to Leonie and Thomas Poulin. He is predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, MaryJane Poulin of Plainville, his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Rick Lentini of Plainville and his son Robert Poulin of OFallon Illinois. He was adored and will be missed by his loving grandchildren Scott Poulin of Omaha Nebraska, Krystal Lentini of Wolcott and Nicholas Lentini of Plainville. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and in-laws across the United States and Canada.
Norbert was a farmer, trailer salesman, welder, and crossing guard during his full life. He was involved in his church, St. Andrews in New Britain and volunteered many hours at the church and at the hospital. He enjoyed his family, the Yankees, Canadian hockey, going to Lake Compounce, tinkering around the house and traveling. He fought a courageous battle for many years and will be missed by many people.
Calling hours will be on Monday, September 15th. 4-7pm at the New Britain Memorial –Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Avenue, New Britain, CT. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, September 16th at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Directions: Exit 37 off I-84 take a right at the exit, funeral home is 1 ½ miles on your right.
