Merrek was a pure-hearted soul, he was polite, genuine, and respectful. He was incredibly fun to be around with a smile that lit up any room and a laugh that was contagious. Merrek's favorite pastimes were skateboarding, fishing, cooking, and wood working. He was definitely an adrenaline junkie and loved anything that gave him that rush. He was outgoing, charismatic and loved to share his accomplishments or just start up a conversation with everyone he came in contact with. Merrek was known for his strong work ethic and dedication to any job put in front of him. He wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty and was always there if you needed help in any capacity. Merrek lived in the Mystic area for most of his life until he moved to Berlin, CT in 2020, where he quickly became a loved member of the community. Merrek was a loving son, role-model to his siblings, amazing friend, and devoted boyfriend. Our hearts are heavy as we say goodbye to someone who is irreplaceable to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will forever be cherished and will eternally live in our hearts. He is survived by his mother Jamie Dowling, his father Michael Page, siblings Ryder Dowling, Michael Page, James Page, Isabella Page, stepbrothers Judson and Jason Rowe, grandparents Carl and Mikki Bussett, Cheri Page, Raymond and Shari Dowling, Aunt Amanda, Uncle Nick, Uncle Chris, Aunt Nikki, Aunt Sarah, Aunt Katie, Aunt Ashley, Uncle Andrew several first and second cousins and extended family members of the Dowling, Page and Bussett families.
