Lillian T. (Dumais) LaCombe, 80, devoted wife to the late Joseph A. LaCombe, of New Britain, entered into Eternal Rest with The Lord on March 4, 2022 with her devoted son Jeffrey Malicki and grandson Darren Malicki by her side. A lifelong resident of New Britain, Lillian is the daughter to the late Omer and Angeline (Robillard) Dumais. Lillian devoted her life to her family and her church. Lillian will be remembered fondly for her devout belief in God, Jesus, Mother Mary, and all the angels and Saints that traveled with her each day of her life. We know now that she is resting comfortably in the arms of the Angels in Heaven with Jesus by her side. Lillian lived her life each day with a loving and holy spirit, devoted to St. Francis of Assisi Church. Lillian was an active member of the St. Francis Ladies Guild as well as a member of the church choir for many years. Lillian is survived by and will be deeply missed by: her son, Jeffrey Malicki and grandson Darren Malicki, step-sons: Joseph LaCombe, Jr and Thomas Lacombe, step-daughters: Debra Fitzgerald, Carol Manning, and Sharon Nisch; as well as many nieces and nephews and dear friends. In addition to her beloved husband, Joseph, and her parents Omer and Angeline, Lillian joins in heaven those who have predeceased her: sister Diane (Dumais) Malena, brothers: Paul Dumais, Robert Dumais, and Donald Dumais, as well as her first husband, John Malicki. A period of visitation will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, Farmington Avenue, New Britain from 4:00-7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 11, 2022 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1755 Stanley Street, New Britain at 9:30am. Lillian’s family invites friends and family to gather prior to Mass at the funeral home from 8:30-9:00am. Interment services to immediately follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Stanley Street, New Britain.
