Frank was the loving and devoted husband of 38 years of Elisabeth Carbone. Born in Connecatini Bagni, Italy, he came to America in 1955 at the age of 8. He was a graduate of Buckley High School in Hartford. He proudly severed in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam conflict from 1964 to 1967 as a combat engineer and demolition expert. He was employed at Constitution Plaza Barber Shop for 45 years; as a store detective for 20 years and was also employed with Bank of America for 18 years. Frank was a hardworking man; he was an avid reader of history and loved the game of chess. He was predeceased by his father, Nicola Carbone, his father in law Santo Micale and brother in law, Joseph Micale
Besides his beloved wife, Elisabeth, he is survived by his mother, Concetta Carbone a brother, Joseph Carbone and a niece Connie Carbone all of Venice, Florida; a sister in law, Roberta Micale of Newington, a niece Marie and her husband, Erik Stuckman of Bristol and their children, Haley Rose, Emily Rose and Brady Joseph. Also a niece and goddaughter, Ashley Micale and her partner, Matthew Kalinowski of New Hampshire and there 2 children, Joseph Ross and Abigail Elizabeth, he leaves a godson, Daniel Magnano and goddaughter, Kayla Boutin and a dear friend, Melodie Perretto.
A special aunt and uncle Josephine and Angelo Roucco of Wethersfield; several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 9:00 AM at the New Britain Memorial- Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain, followed by a funeral liturgy at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Church, 101 North St. New Britain. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 28th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home, Directions, Exit 37 off I-84 take a right, 1 ½ miles on your right.
