Sharon B. Monroe

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gene E. Monroe, and her daughter Shawn L. Hudson. She is survived by her daughter Dawn Abbott and son Craig Christopherson (Alex) of New Braunfels, Son-in-law Ken Hudson, granddaughters, Leighann Fenter, Rachel Hudson and Caitlin Irvin (Scott) with her first great-grandchild on the way.

Sharon was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church for many years and enjoyed their quilting club. Sharon never met a craft she didn't like and had many hobbies the family continues to enjoy today. She also loved animals and had many beloved dogs over the years.

The family will have a private service at a later date but appreciates your thoughts and prayers. We would especially like to thank her caregivers Vilma, Teresa and Tessie of Woodcrest Home for Seniors for their excellent and loving care. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Braunfels Humane Society in Sharon's honor.
