Rudy D. Benavides

Rudy D. Benavides, 45, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away, Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas. He was born to Robert Benavides and Ymelda Delgado Benavides in New Braunfels, Texas on February 19, 1970.

Rudy is an alumni of New Braunfels High School and was employed at UPS for 9 years as a Package/Feeder Driver. He was a die hard Oakland Raiders Fan, New York Yankees Fan, who always enjoyed having gatherings in his state of the art man cave.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna Benavides of New Braunfels; daughter, Audrey Imperial and husband Joe; sons, Noah Benavides, and Aaron; parents, Robert and Ymelda Benavides; sisters, Norma Benavides and Patricia Benavides and husband Raad Altwein; brothers, Robert Benavides, Jr. and wife Christine and Roland Benavides and wife Anna; maternal grandmother, Rebecca Dlegado; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gipe and Maria Benavides; maternal grandfather, Martin Delgado, Sr.

Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Friday at Zoeller Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Visitation will begin again 8:00 AM Saturday at Zoeller Funeral Home and will continue until 9:30 AM when the service departs in procession to the church. A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
