Philip K. House

Born in Paris, Texas, after a time in the Air Force, Pop started his career on the sales floor at Beall’s Department Store. He would go on to a vice president role in the retail chain that took the family from Beaumont to stops all across Texas and eventually to Albuquerque, New Mexico. After retirement the family settled in New Braunfels.

Pop loved motorcycles, cars, golfing, and working out at the gym. And he enjoyed nothing more than spending time with family and doing all he could for his wife MaryEllen.

He is preceded in death by parents Evabel and William House and brothers Jerry House and Bill House.

Pop is survived by his wife MaryEllen, sister Nancy Jane House, son Mark (Mindy), and daughters Kim House and Kaye House-Agar (Charlie), as well as grandson Cody House (Lauren), step-grandson Zachary Morrissey, and great-grandchildren Elijah (4) and Raelynn (18 months) House.

The family will hold a private service.
