Polly is remembered for her deep compassion and love for those around her. She never met a stranger she wouldn't help. She would go out of her way to do for others. She was always ready and willing to welcome people into her home and never allowed anyone to leave hungry. As a Naval Officer's wife, she stood by her husband with love and devotion for 69 years as they traveled the world together. She had a contagious laugh and the ability to bring life to any situation. Polly loved Jesus and kept a prayerful watch over her family. She was a beautiful woman inside and out who placed others before herself. She had a heart for those in need and was always there with a helping hand. She genuinely cared about the one in front of her. She was the voice of reason, the bridge over troubled waters, the glue that held the family together. She was the epitome of kindness. She now dances with her husband, Jack, on streets of gold. She was greatly loved and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
We cherish the time we had with her and consider it an honor to be a part of her life.
"SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW YOU ALL THE DAYS OF YOUR LIFE; AND YOU WILL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOREVER" PS 23:6
