Katharina Gertraud McCamant

Trudy was born in Nördlingen, Germany on November 25, 1928. After the end of WWII, she married Carroll Eugene (Mac) McCamant in Augsburg, Germany on June 16, 1956.

She is survived by her husband Mac with whom she enjoyed 59 years of marriage. She is also survived by her son, Frank McCamant, his wife Donna, and three granddaughters, Ashley, Meghan, and Amanda; her son Bruce McCamant, his wife Diane, and two grandsons, Aaron, his wife Calie, and a great-granddaughter, Ivy, Ethan, and two granddaughters, Abigail, and her husband John, and Grace; and her daughter, Rebecca Bradbury, her husband, Rick, two grandsons, Jacob, his fiancé Kayla, Christian, and a granddaughter, Mallory.

Trudy was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church for 40 years and enjoyed many good friends from there. Trudy never met a stranger, and was full of love and compassion for all.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. On Monday, March 21, 2016, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 3701 W. Slaughter Lane, Austin, TX. Memorial donations may be made to The Comfort Dog Ministry at Bethany Lutheran Church.
