Harry Pantermuehl Jr.

Harry “Rock” Pantermuehl, Jr. , 84, of New Braunfels, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015. He was born to Harry and Hulda Pantermuehl, Sr on July 27, 1930 in New Braunfels, Texas. He married his lovely wife, Viola DuMenil on October 16, 1959.

His whole life he loved playing cards and dominos. His other passion was his cats; who kept him company for many years. Harry was a member of American Legion Post 35. He was from a family of 13 all born and raised in New Braunfels. Harry was a family man who loved his grandchildren dearly and also then his great-grandchildren. He will be forever missed by his loved ones and friends.

Harry is survived by his daughter, Susan Martin; grandson, Corey Andrew Martin and wife Brooke; granddaughter, Paige Michelle Mendoza and husband Jace; great-grandchildren, Paisley Jane Martin, Brantley Rock Martin, Marley Mae Mendoza, Mason Jace Mendoza, and Malcolm Zane Mendoza, all of New Braunfels; sisters, Audrey Robertson, Rosie Schulze and Alma Scheffner ; brother, Wayne Pantermuehl; sister-in-law, Della Pantermuehl; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 4pm-7pm at Zoeller Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 10am at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Humane Society of the United States, ASPCA, or any animal shelter of your choice.
