Jean Pruett was born May 23, 1930 in Holiday, TX and went to meet her Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022 at the age of 92. She passed in her sleep without any pain. She had a full life doing many things she loved. She was a hairdresser with her own business and later did floral design for many years at flower shops. She also was a remarkable artist, painting beautiful canvases as well as designed and made frames.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Alpha Whitehead, son Mark Pruett, four brothers and four sisters, and the love of her life, J.D. Pruett.
She is survived by her son Jimmie and wife Susie of New Braunfels, daughters Pam Maynor of Austin and Tricia Johnson of Nevada, TX. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren Angela Dishman, Jayson Frew, Heather Little, Rachel Pruett, Kelsey Pruett, Galen Pruett, Tyson Maynor, Danielle Maynor, Kristin Pruett, and Lacey Cypert, fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
